Lokaa Entertainment is a Mumbai based, content & creativity driven motion pictures production and distribution company founded in 2016.
Our passion is entertainment content; unrestricted by borders and languages or platforms and mediums. If the content excites us, we will find a way to bring that content to the audience it is intended for.
Lokaa Entertainment brings together the best qualities of an independent production house and conventional film studio to create a unique space for ourselves and as an entertainment company, we aim to produce, acquire, market and distribute films across the world.

The vision is to provide universally appealing and engaging content.

With over 35 years of combined experience in the entertainment industry among the founding directors of Lokaa, the company has already begun acquiring projects and green lighting scripts to be developed in the immediate future.

Vishakha is the leading force behind Lokaa.
Her Bollywood journey began as an actor with Oscar Nominee Director, Ashutosh Gowariker's film Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se. She later co-produced 'Peddlers' and 'Haraamkhor' with Anurag Kashyap Films and Guneet Monga
Vishakha has also been a part of the Producers Workshop at the Festival De Cannes 2014. Her last outing as an actor was in Fukrey Returns.

VISHAKHA SINGH

With 2 decades of experience covering a broad spectrum of entertainment properties viz. Films, Documentaries, TV Commercials and Stage shows, Ramesh plays a pivotal role at LOKAA. He is responsible for all key business operations of the company.
He oversees Business and Legal Affairs and manages the company’s relationships with its financial and distribution partners.

An innovative mind to the core, his penchant for Production, Distribution, Marketing and unconventional Business modules, make him an important part of the LOKAA think tank. His principal goals involve setting up the core strategy, developing a bold and innovative slate comprised of unique scripted content with a global market appeal across genre.

Dinesh Pal has over two decades of experience in all financial aspects of film making. His accounting, finance and legal expertise guides our company's film making decisions , ensuring high content films are made within stipulated budgets. He has been the chief financial advisory on films like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Ittefaq, Bhootnath.

A Great creative mind with enormous experience of 25 years. A two times National Film Award winner for him films RI & ONAATAH , and further witnessing the film being selected for the Indian Panorama at the 45th IFFI Goa has renewed his vigour and desire to further create more meaningful films for the benefit of the film loving population. He is currently working on his next, a children's film 'IEWDUH'

PRADIP KURBAH

Murali Ramaswamy is one of the most renowned film producers of Tamil Nadu having produced Superstar Vijay starrer 'MERSAL' in 2017. The film broke all BO records proving to be a massive hit. His film production company, TSL has produced over a 100 films in the last 4 decades. He has almost two decades of experience in the South Indian Film Industry.

Having worked over 22yrs in the world of cinema, written over 600TV programs, servicing several TV and Film companies, he is a unique talent house. Having worked in over 6 languages, he has been associated with legendary Turkish Film maker Mustafa Altioklar, Kamal, Feroz Khan, Imtiaz Ali and many more. A travel freak and an obsessive researcher on world history, he has travelled across 16 countries wanting to capture the event from the best vantage point.

Sandesh Suvarna is Tech Whiz who helps merge technology with creativity at Lokaa. An ExIBMer, he has been covered by the most renowned publications digitally , featuring his work. Mrig is one of the brightest talents in the Indian film industry today and has spent over decade in the movie industry.His directorial venture,’Fukrey’ (2013), won millions of hearts across the country and attained cult status.He followed it up with a sequel: Fukrey Returns in Dec 2017. And this time it was a bigger box office success!

Mrig's strength lies in bringing out the underlying humour in the trickiest of situations.
